How to Receive a Digital Business Card

Did someone share their HiHello digital business card with you? Saving a business card to your phone is simple, and you don't need an app to do it. Follow this step-by-step guide to learn how to view a HiHello virtual business card, how to save it, and where it gets saved in your phone. 

Exchanging contact information using HiHello is quick and seamless. If you meet someone and they want to share their digital business card with you, you can easily view and save their card without having to download the HiHello app. (But of course, if you want to download the app it's available for free on iOS, Android, and the web!)


Follow this step-by-step guide to learn how to view a HiHello virtual business card, how to save it, and where it gets saved in your phone. 


1. Open your Camera app

2. Point your camera at a HiHello QR code and tap the notification that appears at the top of your screen

3. Tap “Save Contact”

Great job—you're halfway there! Now when it comes to actually saving a HiHello digital business card, you have two options:


1) Email or text the card to yourself

2) Save the card as a digital file


Text or email a digital business card to yourself


Enter in your name and email or phone number, and tap “Send"

(Optional) To share your contact information in return, fill out the information you’d like your new contact to have and tap “Share”

Save the virtual business card as a .vcf file


Tap “Download .VCF”

Tap the share icon in the upper right corner

To save a card as a .vcf, tap the share icon on the top right of your phone's screen.

Tap “Contacts”

To save a HiHello digital business card as a .vcf tap "Contacts"


Tap “Save”

To save a HiHello digital business card as a .vcf and add it to your contacts, tap "Save"


Remember, you don’t have to have the HiHello app to save someone’s card, but if you’re ready to make your own electronic business then you can download the app for free on iOS, Android, and the web.
